Spencer Wolter, DVM

Spencer Wolter grew up on a crop farm in Southwest Minnesota. The expression goes, “You want what you can’t have” so naturally he wanted livestock to even out all the crop farming. He got involved with livestock through 4H and FFA showing, and the rest is history. 

 

He attended the University of Minnesota for his bachelor’s degree in animal science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. He specializes in feedlot and cow/calf medicine consulting. He is passionate about constantly improving animal health and welfare through better management, protocols, and producer education.  

 

Spencer lives in Windom, Minnesota where he continues to consult with the feedyards in Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. When he isn’t working with cattle, he is crop farming on his family’s farm.
