Wage: $18.18 per hour, with potential merit-based bonuses. Higher hourly rates may be offered based on experience, tenure, skill, and other non-discriminatory factors.

Job Duties:

• Sanitation and Disinfection:

  • Wash, disinfect, and bake livestock trailers after each use.
  • Clean and sanitize livestock confinements, including chutes, tractors, pumping equipment, crop farming equipment, vehicles, and trailers.

• Snow Removal:

  • Clear snow from around livestock confinements and farm roads.
  • Disinfect snow removal equipment after each use.

• Livestock Handling:

  • Assist in the removal and transportation of both deceased and living livestock.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 months working with livestock.
• Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
  • Capability to work on feet in bent, stooped, and crouched positions for extended periods.
  • Perform repetitive movements and extensive walking.
• Work Conditions:
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including rain and snow, as long as operations continue.
  • Adherence to detailed biosecurity protocols.
• Attendance: Punctuality and commitment to full workdays as specified.

Work Schedule:

• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Shift: 6:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
