Job description

Hord Family Farms, headquartered in North Central Ohio, is in its 5th generation of family farming, with over 100 years of farming heritage. With satellite locations in Pennsylvania and Minnesota, Hord Farms is a pig, cow, and grain farm. Collectively, we market over 1.3 million pigs per year. We strive to raise our animals with care and utilize modern and advanced farming practices to be efficient and sustainable.

We are looking for a Director of Sow Production to oversee four of our locations in the Bucyrus, Ohio area, with no more than a 25-minute drive to the furthest farm. You will lead 4 Farm Managers and indirectly, 40 farm employees to meet our production goals, maintain biosecurity, and achieve KPIs.

What you will bring...
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Animal Science or a related field preferred
