Colony Account Manager
Location: Southern Alberta 
  
You are an accomplished, well-connected individual in the livestock industry looking for an opportunity to join our team.
  
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding annual sales targets with new growth in your territory while continuing to service and maintain brand loyalty with existing customers.  To succeed in this role, you will have thorough knowledge and understanding of complete feed sales programs.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Hutterite Colonies and other agricultural producers.
  • Promote and sell a full range of livestock feed products including poultry, swine, dairy, and beef feeds.
  • Collaborate with internal nutrition and logistics teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Provide on-farm technical support and guidance related to feed programs, animal nutrition, and management practices.
  • Conduct regular farm visits, assess herd/flock health and performance, and offer feed solutions.
  • Prepare and present product proposals, feed trials, and feeding programs.
  • Attend agricultural trade shows, producer meetings, and other industry events.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feed deliveries.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth goals.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in agriculture sales or livestock feed, preferably with experience working with Hutterite Colonies.
  • Knowledge of animal and livestock production systems (poultry, swine, dairy, beef).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must be flexible with travel and scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Alberta.
